hearing...birds! Not only have I been hearing them outside in my neighborhood, but I've been listening to Bird Song Radio.
seeing...The sun coming out this morning! Yay! It gives me such energy. Yesterday was rainy and dreary and not much was accomplished. I have high hopes for today!
tasting...my new favorite yogurt: Brown Cow! I love the cream top version but their low fat is delicious too!
touching...yarn! No surprise there, huh? I'm working on my April socks which will be a mini-version of the ones I made for dh (February socks). These will be for Lukas, and #1 is already done and he loves it!
smelling...salmon grilling. Well, not this morning but the memory of it is still lingering in my mind. I grilled salmon on our little George Foreman grill last night and used the following marinade from allrecipes. So GOOD!!! Even picky Lukas ate it which is amazing these days since we are in the throes of being TWO.

"A simple soy sauce and brown sugar marinade, with hints of lemon and garlic, are the perfect salty-sweet complement to rich salmon fillets."
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
lemon pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
salt to taste
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Season salmon fillets with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
2. In a small bowl, stir together soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until sugar is dissolved.
3. Place fish in a large resealable plastic bag with the soy sauce mixture, seal, and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Preheat grill for medium heat.
4. Lightly oil grill grate. Place salmon on the preheated grill, and discard marinade. Cook salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
