Our weather has been cooler this week which has me thinking of fall, my favorite season. Our backyard garden has done well, and I have a kitchen table filled with heirloom tomatoes that I need to turn into marinara sauce tomorrow. I love being in the kitchen in this type of weather (remember we don't have central air so summer heat makes my kitchen literally an oven). I need to bake some bread too. Happy times ahead! Tonight I'm using (hopefully!) all of our pear and cherry tomatoes to make a Jamie Oliver recipe. I need to make this one again (fantastic stuff!) soon to use my eggplants.
